As the covid 19 epidemics keep rampaging all around the world. The ever-increasing shipping cost has placed a great challenge on overseas trading companies. Especially for those who wish to buy a large machine that usually takes more than one container for shipping.

The same issue is facing by Demitri, too. Who ordered Five sets of LT-12025 ES model fiber laser cutting machines. To cut extremely long and large tubes, this model has a 12-meter machine bed and a customized 6-meter receiving part (figure 1). This length has way excelled the length of an ordinary 40 ft container. At this moment, each extra container means tens of thousands of shipping costs. On a daily communication before the shipment of his first machine, the Acme sales team acknowledged Demitri's concerns, we care about our client's concerns and decided to do our best to help him.

The machine bed is welded by carbon steel tubes and after that, it has to went through a heat treatment procedure after welding. However, the length of the heat treatment equipment is shorter than 10 meters. In this case, the 12-meter machine bed is divided into two 6 meter parts and heat treat separately. During installation at Demitri's factory. He can simply connect the two sections of the bed with bolts and nuts. The rack and rails are calibrated while manufacturing so no extra work is needed at that moment. The same method is also applied to the receiving part. We disconnected two 3 meter receiving parts for the shipment as well.

Through this manner, a 20 meter's-long LT-12025 ES was loaded into a 40ft HC container and deliver to our client. We saved approx 15000 USD for Demitri
